The third edition of the prestigious team-based padel tournament will move to Caja Mágica after two successful years at the Madrid Arena. The Hexagon Cup will take place from 28 January to 1 February 2026, maintaining the same weekend as previous editions.
Madrid, 17 September – Hexagon Cup, one of the most innovative and high-profile events in the international padel calendar, will change venues for its third edition. After two years of success at the iconic Madrid Arena, the tournament will now be staged at Caja Mágica, one of Europe’s most modern sporting venues and an iconic site in the world of racquet sports. The organisers have confirmed that the competition will take place from 28 January to 1 February 2026, continuing with the same scheduling as previous years.
The third edition marks an important new chapter in the evolution of the project, which has quickly established itself as a reference point in both professional sport and global entertainment.
Caja Mágica, a venue that regularly hosts major international events, will allow the Hexagon Cup to raise its operational standards, increase its spectator capacity, and amplify its global profile. With cutting-edge architecture and state-of-the-art facilities, it is the ideal setting to host the next edition of the tournament, which will once again feature the world’s best players, elite teams, entertainment, and hospitality that combine to create an unforgettable fan experience.
Sergio Lewin, Operations and Sporting Managing Director of the Hexagon Cup, highlighted the symbolic importance of the move: “Moving to Caja Mágica is incredibly exciting and strengthens our commitment to delivering a world-class show for players, teams and fans. Leaving the Madrid Arena was not an easy decision—it was the birthplace of the Hexagon Cup and will always be part of our story. But we remain in Madrid, with the continued support of the City Council, the Mayor and the Sports Delegate, looking ahead to reinforce the city’s position as the global capital of padel. We’re energised by what lies ahead in the coming months.”
Sonia Cea, Sports Delegate of the Madrid City Council, added: “Madrid is the world capital of padel, and tournaments like the Hexagon Cup help consolidate that status. The tournament’s third edition will be held in a very special venue—Caja Mágica, a unique facility that already hosts world-class tennis and will now also feature the very best of padel. This event is incredibly important for the city, not only for its sporting level but also for its fresh and innovative format, which puts the quality of the players at the heart while offering a dynamic and entertaining experience for fans. Its concept aligns perfectly with the strategic objectives of the Madrid Sports Department. For all these reasons, we invite everyone to once again enjoy the best padel in Madrid, the global capital of sport.”
Under the banner "For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game.", the Hexagon Cup will continue to build on its unique mixed team competition model—featuring global sporting icons and an entertainment offering that goes far beyond the court.
